Maes Gwyn Community Benefit Fund – Open NOW

A new round of funding for the Maesgwyn Wind Farm Community Benefit Fund is open from Monday the 2nd of September and closes at 5 pm on Friday the 11th of October 2024.

All applications received will be assessed in November 2024.

The Fund is available exclusively to community and voluntary groups based in the community of Glynneath.

If you have a good community project which is in need of funding and is eligible under the fund criteria, please apply to the Project Development and Funding Unit using the Application Form below.

We highly recommend that you contact the Project Development and Funding Unit to discuss your project before making an application – please contact Eloise Stanton: e.stanton@npt.gov.uk or Paul Hinder: p.hinder@npt.gov.uk

Eligible organisations such as constituted voluntary / community groups, local charities & not for profit organisations and schools (restrictions apply) may apply for grants of between £500 and £15,000 for projects generating a genuine, long term community benefit under the following headings:

1. Recreation

2. Education

3. Health

4. Environment

5. Energy efficiency

6. Culture
